About My Social Media Life

The first social media I used was ICQ which was over 20 years ago. I was chatting with friend all over the world via that chatting app.World had became a global village since then.


Afterwords,in china,local social media began to take place. For several years, QQ had been the leading media. It has many functions like Instant Messaging: QQ allows users to send text, voice, and video messages. It supports both one-on-one and group chats, making it a popular choice for personal and professional communication.And it's social networking: Users can create profiles, add friends, and join groups based on interests. QQ also has a feature called Qzone, where users can post updates, share photos, and write blogs. For our generation, lots of our photos were restored in QQ album.


Wechat has replaced QQ to become the dominant social medial about 12 years ago. Compare to QQ, one of he new features of Wechat is Mobile Payments: WeChat Pay is a widely used feature that allows users to make payments, transfer money, and manage their finances directly within the app. This feature is not available on QQ. And the other new function is moments: Similar to a social media feed, Moments allows users to share photos, videos, and status updates with their contacts. QQ does not have a comparable feature. Since the first day of it's launching , I have been a loyal and active wechat user.


But in 2018,the red note started gaining significant popularity in China . This surge was driven by its unique blend of social media and e-commerce features, which resonated particularly well with young, urban users interested in lifestyle, fashion, and beauty products.he platform's user base expanded rapidly as it became a go-to source for product recommendations and reviews. Recently the Red Note ranked no.1 of downloads in many region's app store. 

Two month ago, I started to post on Red note to record my everyday life in Finland. There are two notes gained massive traction . One got over 162K views over 6k likes, the other one got 51k views and 10.5k likes.I feel happy that i could use my camera to introduce Finland's beauty to so many people.
