Theme 1- What is your media life look like?
My Media life
One of my earliest media memories is using IMO as a child to talk to my dad, who lived abroad. Those calls meant the world to me, showing how media could connect people across distances.
Today, I no longer use traditional media like newspapers or TV. Instead, I rely on Google News for global updates and Routine of Nepal Banda page on Facebook for authentic news about Nepal. It’s quick, reliable, and keeps me connected to my roots.
Digital media is a big part of my life. I use Instagram, WhatsApp, and YouTube daily for entertainment, learning, and staying in touch. I also engage with online communities, especially for learning Finnish and exploring student life.
I wouldn’t call myself a heavy media user, but I value meaningful interactions more than just scrolling. Visual content appeals to me the most because it’s engaging and easy to understand. Media isn’t just a tool for me it’s how I stay informed, inspired, and connected every day.
I love how you’ve embraced media to stay connected, informed, and inspired. Your balance of meaningful interactions over mindless scrolling is refreshing!
